Shoesday Afternoon
After getting you dressed today, I went to go get your shoes and socks. Coming back, I was greeted with a proud little you, sitting on your bed swinging your feet. You had already put some shoes on.
They were backwards.
And you had no socks.
At first I attempted to remove one, and you cried out, "No Mama!" -- And I knew. I couldn't break your heart. You worked so hard to get those shoes not only on but also buckled. I've seen you attempt to put them on before; never taking help from Daddy or myself. Always frustrated along the way, but like your sweet determined self, you never give up on them.
So, off we went: I, with my ballerina flats, and you, with your backwards Mary Janes (no socks), both happy as could be.

No More 'Toe'
April 10-
Today, you stopped calling Tito, 'Toe'. He is now officially 'Tito' because you can say his name.
